I have been told that it's better for littlies to have a gap in their front teeth, it means there is more room for movement when their adult teeth come through and that they are less likely too have crooked front teeth (from them pushing in on each other).

DD1 has a big gap b/w her top teeth too but i've been told it's fine.
Exactly what I think too. I had a gap when I was little and then once all the adult teeth came through the gap closed and I have perfectly straight teeth and have never had any braces or plates.
