We took aricyn's away with great success - I actually started up a thread about it. He was great, and is even ok with the baby having a dummy.

We did the dummy fairy story - and they left him a dinosaur It was a big hit.

And then we went and brought him another toy because we were "proud" of him being such a nice boy to let the dummy fairy keep his dummies

It worked like a charm! He had two or three days asking for it and then he seemed to forget about it.

He still has moments (but they are rare) where he will ask for it, and we'll be like - huh? the dummy fairy has it remember? and he is like "oooh yeah..".. and then keeps playing
