I've been to Tresillian when DS was 8 months old for frequent night wakings - he would wake anywhere from 5 to 10 times a night. While we were there he was an angel - first night he woke once and the subsequent nights he only woke twice. The nurses were very nice and it was good to be with other parents who understood instead of hearing "oh my baby slept through from 6 weeks!!". A couple of the thingsI didn't like were the bathrooms were shared and the babies slept a long way from the parents - I almost left on day one as I was beside myself that I wouldn't be able to hear him. To be honest I didn't sleep very well as I couldn't adjust to not being able to hear him wake and I was worried the nurses would let him cry too long before coming to get me, as a result I actually got out of bed several times to check on him.
When we got home he was worse than ever and I when I look back and try and work out what the difference was the only thing I can put it down to was the rooms at Tresillian were very cool and dark, he is a very "hot" little boy and always has been and our house at the time wasn't air conditioned. The one thing I did when we got home was ditch his dummy - it took time and many tears but it stopped him waking for it.
Good luck, I hope you get the help you need, I know the feelings of desperation that come with a wakeful baby, it's really hard.
