How much does your 2 1/2 months old drink?

I am a first time mom and have been learning so many things at once. Sometimes I feel like these lessons are endless especially when I got used to DD's routines, then she decides to develop some new ones....

She used to drink 28oz when she was 1 3/4 months old... she is now almost 2 1/2 months old but only drinks an average of 23-24 oz a day (which is less then when she was younger)... is this normal? Also, I should mention that my baby's weight was a little below average when we went for her 2 months checkup... is there anything I could do to boost her weight gain??? Can anyone share with me how many oz their 2 1/2 months drink? or is there anyone experiencing the same dilemma as me?

We use mls not oz, so not sure about how much that is. Hayden drank between 40 and 100ml at this age which my bottle shows is about 1.2 to about 3.3 fluid oz. But he was BF first, then had a formula top up (which is the amounts given) and was having about 8 - 10 feeds a day. I used top up feeds as Hayden wasn't gaining (any) weight. HTH.

Thanks for your reply. How much would you say Hayden drink in a one day period? (you can also tell me the total in ml and I will do the calculations) Also, could you tell what it means by top up feeds? Thanks!
