DD1 just loves doing what I am doing. Toys are a waste of money for us. She loves gardening, cleaning (wahoooooooo), putting ni ni's on her bears (dressing them up and putting them to sleep). Reading books is a great one, she helps me make dinner, we chase imaginary flies around the kitchen, draw lots with crayons.

She loves dismantling my plastics cupboard (I have to pick it all back up again, but she likes unstacking the containers and looking at all the lids- especially one from an icecream container that has a cow on it!).
Bit messy, but I have given her a couple of mixing bowls and spoons and put flour in one bowl and a little bit of water in the other (or you could do water/pasta or flour/pasta).
she loves looking at books now too, and chasing balls around the floor.
