Mouth Breathing

Anyone???

I've done a little research and the thing that comes up the most is adenoids. Anyone had any experience there?

Not too sure hun sorry but I do know that a girl at MG has a little boy who will have to get his tonsils out soon as he is having some problems and I am pretty sure one thing he does is mouth breath alot as well, particularly at night. xoxo

Brendan is shocking at night, is breathing is raspy and noisy and he does snore sometimes too (but not all the time)

Might be worth checking if it is that noisy, I know with my gf that they said it could be affecting his behaviour as well, because he isn't able to get a decent nights sleep. The tonsils are too big for his throat and they are in most kids but for him it affects his breathing at night, and he drools quite a bit too considering he is 3.5. Good luck with it all, hopefully you can eliminate some things and get some answers.

Hmm, Brendan drools too! His sleep is affected by his sensory issues anyway, but if we can get the breathing right we might be lucky to see some change of behaviour!
