Yep I use sudocream too. DS gets a similar thing in his leg/groin creases if they aren't dried really well and it works a treat to keep the moisture off while it heals.

Chemical free might be what attracted me to it. Something did, LOL. Thanks for the tip on cradle cap too. DS has it, but not real bad yet so might not use on him if I get it.

I have sudocreme too. Might use that in the day when he is awake a bit more, and I can check he doesn't touch it, then put it in his mouth.

Just put it on really thinnly and it shouldn't be a problem. My DS also gets a dribble rash around his mouth. I went to the chemist looking to get something for it and they told me that the zinc cream was the best thing for it. I was worried about him ingesting it, but they told me as long as you spread it really thin it won't be a problem.

We use sudocream to when DS occasionally gets a rash in his neck folds - its probably not that you aren't drying properly, but more a pool of drool that has gotten stuck there. I only ever have to use one application to fix it so if you are worried, maybe use it when you put your LO to bed

I used some Gaia Skin Soothing Lotion on my DD recently when she had this and it worked wonderfully and is organic The redness was gone by the next day.

Julia got that infected crease a lot from milk going down there as she drank fast, we used paw paw ointment and it worked every time!
