Interesting and helpful thread...

I vaxed all but the chicken pox, and never flu vaxed because my boys were fully and partiall breastfed. Neither of the boys have ever had the flu, only minor colds. We eat tonnes of garlic, my dh is convinced thats why

But i suppose the "panic" has set in, words like epidemic trigger my anxiety so i'm just looking in to this.

From my understanding of this thread, am i correct in saying that its not the actual swine flu that kills people, its that it worsens their already conditions which lead to complications?

So a very healthy child with no conditions and not much social group contact probably doesn't need it? (in your opinions?)
