DD got head lice when she was about 6 or 7 months old I think...I was devastated! Lol. I washed her hair (and mine...realised why my head was itching like crazy ) with this stuff called "Quit Nits" from the supermarket. I picked out as many eggs as I could from DD's hair, and gave mine a really good comb. I couldn't pick them out of my hair though, because it's really thick and long and it's kinda hard to do it to your own hair! I washed our hair again a week later with it and they were pretty much all gone. I think I only washed all the sheets once during the week.

I'd just make sure that you give your hair a treatment too, because chances are if your DD has them you may have them too.
