One gender then the other.. did you cull?

    Clear as mud?

I have 2 girls, wriggler is a boy (only BB knows this for those that know me IRL) We are 95% sure this will be our last baby, and either way we will have a house move in a year or so. I WANT to cull all the ultra girly bits, but there is a bit at the back of my mind say Noooo, you may have another one day... the scan might be wrong.. I dont have room to store this stuff on a what if.. I have more than i know i need as i have been give so much by a few friends who were done with having babies.

Ugh.. what did you/friends do? was it regretted?

I have given the girly stuff to family and close friends and sold a lot. I still have a few more things to go. I have kept a few favourites for the girls to have when they are older. I haven't regretted getting rid of any of it, I had 8 big tubs of clothes to sell, so it was great to get the space back. I am having more trouble getting rid of Ds's things now he has outgrown them.

I've kept everything I wanted too. Bad luck, I say but I just can't part with it yet

I got rid of all but my faves. But I didn't find out until I was nearly due with DS so it took a while after he was born. Many of the tiny pink stuff went to the dolls box.
After DS we were going to stop. So I got rid of all the stuff he no longer needed. So, when I knew we were having a girl - I raided the dolls box

Thanks, I'm going to go for the cull, and give myself one box for sentimental/favourite bits. I have more than they need and if we have a no 4, eh, i'll op shop and gumtree shop some if i need it. I think the space back is more valuable than the few $ that might cost. I'm not precious with 'new' these days like i was with DD1.

    On with the declutter!
