Thank you all for your thoughts.

Fruit: He eats loads of it so I have reduced the amount today & will try for a few days to see if there is any difference. Fingers crossed.

Dairy: Yes, I have increased his dairy since he started bf less & I have considered he may have an intollerance. I am reticent to cut this without any hard evidence & will try the fruit reduction first. If cutting fruit doesn't change anything then I will look at cutting dairy.

Molars: He has them already but he is just getting one of his eye teeth. I know that many believe teething can cause these problems but my instincts tell me it is not teeting & he hasn't had this issue with any other teeth.

I will see how the fruit goes & work through it from there.

Fleur.....can you suggest how to deal with the 'burnt' skin? I have tried Sudocream, Paw Paw ointment & Bepanthum but nothing is working.

    Thanks.

no idea what can be causing my ssons got this when they had a reaction to anti - bi

I use the boobie cream lansonin (I'm sure you know what I mean the little purple tube a small amount applied to the red and burnt areas and generally within a nappy change you will see a difference also no wipes just warm water to clean the area till the redness subsides...it has always worked for us, pawpaw cream made it worse
