DD2 had a pseudomenses. I can't recall exactly how long it lasted, but I think it was close to a week. It was in each nappy I changed, but was certainly less than a teaspoon in each nappy. Are you sure it is that much, a teaspoon is quite a lot of fluid when it is spread over a nappy, I reckon it would cover most of the crutch area of a new born nappy? DD2 had a stain of red blood about the size of a 5 to 10 cent piece in each nappy, as well as bloody mucus when I wiped her vagina. (Certainly freaked out my DH, who had never heard of such a thing!!)
