no at 6 months they will only recieve infanrix hexa and prevenar.

so no more rotarix for you

you may have to be carefull at the 12 month ones with the menigitec and im pretty sure its a live vaccine like the rotarix. but since menigitec isnt oral it may not have any side effects like coming out in the poo.

Thanks! It's nice to be able to confirm that I was at first told the wrong thing and there's no more gloving up for dirty nappies! Not that Sam poos very often, but it is a pain (and I always seem to get a touch of it anyway!).

Thanks for that, Kawazuki, I did wonder if there were any other live vaccines to come, I'm not sure if it's only the oral ones I need to worry about or not, but I'll make sure I ask the question when we get there. I'm just relieved they no longer use the old oral polio vaccines - that would have meant gloving up for SIX weeks! Two is horrible enough.

    i agree.
takes the personal touch out of it and makes it very clinical

thats ok i have access to all the updated information at any time, i administer the vaccines to the kids nearly daily now.
