Hi kitten, I`ve had two reflux bubs, this is what they used to do, they had trouble keeping down their feeds & would bring it up by projectile vomitting,it would come out of their mouths & nose,it`s just like having a very bad case of heartburn. Talk to your Gp,you might have to use a reflux formula ( it`s a thickened formula)they work very well. Good luck hun.

Karicare do a food thickener that can be given as a gel just before a BF. You will need to go to the chemist for it though.

personally I would go straight to a peadiatrician as my bub had severe reflux and my gp put him on the reflux formula and over time he got a really bad rash which my gp just said was eczema as it was under his chin and down the front of him. I got an appointment with my peadiatrician and the moment he looked at him he said he had a dairy allergy. We put him on Prescribed formula and over a month his reflux had nearlly dissapeared and he was such a happy new baby.

I would get her checked out to be sure. FWIW, formula will often make a mild case of reflux a lot worse, BM is much better. There are often other paths you can go down before even having to consider formula.

Charlotte had silent reflux. We went to the infacol and brauers stuff cos I was pretriffied of going down the formula or EBM path. It worked wonders! Which I didnt think it would. But give it a go. I found one dose was enough for about 24 hours at that age, as opposed o every feed like they prescribe.
Hope she settles down soon though, poor little thing!
