I finally got some over the weekend, from Pumkin Patch tho I got a size 2-3 there and they were teeny tiny!!! (sizing sucks) was totally put out that I had to pay $20 for 5 little pairs of knickers! But ohh well, we have some now! She loves wearing them but its a fairly long walk from the living area to the toilet, and sometimes shes not making it in time. So I was thinking of getting a potty, but would that just confuse her? I need all the help I can get!!

Gigi - Ive never heard of the Eliminaton Communication, good on the parents who do it! It must be hard!

some parents do the Three Day training method
plan on lots of accidents, roll up all the rugs, keep the child on picnic rugs etc to play, but then the child is trained after three days.

some parents use training pants, (they are designed to hold one wee), so for your DD, doing the long walk to the toilet, that would help your floors.

the parents i know that use EC, say it's easier than nappies, as they have far less laundry to do. i had a labour with complications, that resulted in a very long recovery time for my stomach muscles, so the lifting of my child, over a bowl when tiny - was out of the question. But i still found the EC tips very useful, when i did tt my child (at 2.5 years old). the beauty of the internet, you get to read what lots of people do, then pick and choose, which bits suit YOUR family. Try them out, if they work, keep going, if they don't, pick something else to try.
