We decided to get it (I haven't had it yet though, everyone else has though) For us, my DD gets asthma (last winter she spent almost half of the winter term off school with asthma and then chesty coughs etc) and as for DS, if he was old enough to tell me symptoms then I wouldn't be so worried about not getting the vacc. My mum is on immuno-suppressants, after waiting almost 10 years for a transplant, and I would rather have my family vaccinated then risk going near her with something we werent aware we had until after we visited her. Hard decision to make, Matryoshka, but you have to weigh up your own individual reasons, I suppose we all have different ones.
