    Hi Calebsmyum4eva and others

Maybe you should see a different homeopath. I am homeopathically immunising my three kids, ranging in age from 4 months to 8 years. We were told that this type of immunisation can be given effectively at any age, even if they have already had the standard immunisation. You can also get a homeopathic remedy to reverse the damage done by standard immunisations.Google 'homeopathy plus' for the immunisation kits.
On the whooping cough vaccine, this is the one that has been claimed to cause alot of damage to genetically suseptible kids, google 'Dr. Mary Megson pertussis vaccine' for more info.
    Regards
    L.B.

Yes, my research also has lead me most to be concerned with regard to the pertussis vax. Wishing you luck Kitten with your decision...

Antheia - if you do decide to have Orson's other shots later on, keep in mind that you CAN get them separately. You need to hunt for a doctor that will do them, and you need to pay for them...they are trying to make it as difficult as possible.
But any GP that tells you that individual vaccines are not available is lying or ignorant.

Alexis, can you tell me how I get them seperately? I want to get DD the pertussis vac but the Dr says the smallest one she can get is diptheria, tetnus, pertussis, and polio!! Is this true??

Heaven - the short answer is no. The doctor needs to source them and order them separately. This is work for them and if they cant be bothered they wont.
You will need to hunt down a doctor in your area who will give them separately.
PM your suburb and city, I will have a chat to my doctor and see if he knows a doctor there or where your doctor can get the vax from (im in Perth) Charlotte is going in next week for her tetanus injection.

I'd love for them to split up hexa again.

For bfing mummies, something I learnt from a canadian study. If YOU get the whooping cough booster, 10 days later the antibodies for pertussis are in your milk. This can offer the baby passive protection from whooping cough. Its not the same as making their own, but your antibodies will fight off any infection while their body makes their own. The amount of antibodies does start to decline after 4 days, but it did cover them from 10do to 2mo in the studies. Might buy you some time.
