I only weighed ds monthly early on now I do it quarterly - didn't go and see the chn if he's growing, pooing, weeing and is generally happy I wouldn't worry too much but if the chucking(I think you mentioned that - on phone so can't check easily) is concerning you then get it checked - for your peace of mind if nothing else
