each child is different. It's really no good asking when other people did it because it's not about teaching them as such, it's about when they are ready.

My oldest I tried and tried from 18 months. He did not tt until he was 3 years and 2 months old. It's like a switch went off and he just got it.

Chase was 2 years and 2 weeks. I did him and Jaidan at the same time, day and night. Chase got it straight away. He was ready. We had almost no accidents from either at those ages.

Ashton has started going on his own. He started taking his nappies off at home and running around nudie. So I pulled the potty out and put it in the lounge. Everytime he peed on the floor I would say "do yuckies (what he calls them) on the potty hunni" and point. For the last month and a bit he's been using it at home most of the time. I am in no rush to tt when we are out. At home he still yells "YUCKY MUMMY YUCKEEEEE" at me when he's about to do a poo so we have to do a quick dash. I usually have about 30 seconds to get him to a potty when he says that lol there is no way I can waddle that fast to find a toilet if we were out!
