urgent! Frozen beef in slow cooker?

Doh silly me forgot to defrost the meat. Umm, can i put my beef roast in the slow cooker frozen?? If so, how long would you cook it for and can i out the vegies in there too with it?

I have cooked a frozen chook in there before but didnt have anything else in the with it.

I put mine in frozen all the time. I put it on low for 8 hours - vegies and all for the 8 hours
