CCR to child care centre

Just wondering how often the CCR is paid if u elect for it to go direct to the centre. I just got a statement from mine for the past 3 weeks and there is no CCR on there just CCB

It gets paid the same as CCB, depending on when the centre uploads its' data.
If they have provided you with a statement that is not yet finished processing, it may not have come through.
Our software program had issues receiving and estimating CCR when it first started - it could be something similar to this.
You would be best to follow up with them as there could be numerous explanations - mine are all based on the software I use

Thank you I will ask her tomorrow if the director is in. I'm changing centers next week I cant stand the disorganization

Did you arrange for it before the start of the financial year? If not it won't apply until next financial year and you have to claim the old way.

Hmmm I can't remember but the lady at centelink told me was all good. Will call them tomorrow to double check. But what is the old way

It used to be a quarterly or annual payment.
The new way is that you can select to have it paid to the centre to reduce your gap fee, or you can have it paid to yourself.
If you are enrolled in online service, i think it may show the payments that have been made.

FWIW I have had several parents change over after June 17th or whatever the cut off was - FAO had sent out letters saying they wouldn't change it, and maybe this far into the first quarter they won't, but right at the start i had quite a few switch... (that said it took a few weeks for each of those families to update properly in CCMS)

There are very limited circumstances under which the option an be changed at this point without going through a full appeal

When I did it on the phone she asked me where I wanted the CCR to go so I presumed it was going to the CC. was a big shock getting a $300+ statement when expecting like $150
