We did, and they put us on to a nsw company that was definitely cheaper, but then we got solar so agl ended up being the best for us.

Not a good experience here. We recently moved and they said they would contact the company to organise connection etc... No joy. When I called the company we connected with directly there was no record of having created an account.

The other thing that irked me about energy watch was that I couldn't compare for myself... They just tell me which one is the cheapest for my area. I'm a bit suss on places like that as quite often they can steer you towards their marketing partners or ones that they get higher bonuses from.

Google switchwise and you can compare for yourself.

I can't remember how I got who we are with now?? We are with Autralian Power & Gas. Our bills have been great. My last Electricity bill was $285.79 for a quarter. They offer a pay on time discount as well.
Just got my gas bill and it's only $61.33!!

Ive jsut gotten of the phone form Origin (my provider) who is now matching the price of the quotes I gave them.
I now get the first 1000 kw at 19.94c and anything after that 21.62c..AND 7% of the total bill as the provided I told them off gives 7% off their bill's if their emailed to you and Origin dont offer that. The sales guy also gave me 4% off my gas bills as well.......a saving of $150 approx each quater for me
We were on a green 1 month free with Orgin, were if we use greenpower through them we would get a month's free powerin form of a rebate. It cost a $1 a week for it but it ended up saving us close to $200 per year. My year run's out on the 9th of Feb BUT the sales guy has still popped it through....so will be recieving a $240 credit on my next bill

Unreal isnt it....I never thought to quesiton and see if my company would price match. Extremly happy right now
