freaking out about tax!! help!

When i started working at the older job, i claimed the tax free because i was already paying tax on another job which i have now resigned from.

In the new job i thought i ticked the 'pay tax' box but i musnt have if im not getting tax taken out?

I dont know :/

That's the tax free threshold I think - you'd still be paying tax, but you have to get to a certain pay bracket first. Let your employer know you're only working one job now, you'll probably have to fill in another tax file number declaration, and then just give the ATO a call. I don't think you'd owe a huge amount, but the ATO will be able to tell you for sure
