i would say that you were looking at your policy as a result of the claim you're about to make, and noticed that the mistake was on there - you know you told them the truth (as i said earlier, i was told to shrug it off when i rang mine) - put it on them

If its still under builders warranty they need to do something. You can contact your insurer and get them to come and look at it but should be up to the builder.
