How long does your gas bottle last?

I don't mind the hot water on gas. Actually, I'm not sure yet, but I'm hoping it works out cheaper.

My power bill was $600 - $700 every quater. I was off peak 2, so water was heating twice a day. Pretty sure estimates say that would use about half your power bill.

If thats true, I was paying $300 - $350 every 3 months just for the hot water. I'm only paying $125 every 2 months so far with gas. I think thats pretty good

I won't know for sure til I get my bill though.

Sounds cheaper definitely. I would just hate to run out here as they only deliver once a week and imagine no hot shower! I can happily not cook for a week!

I have two bottles... I use one every 3-4months. My bottles cost $140. And it's only for the hot water system.

No hot showers sucks balls I've ran out a few times!

2 months and we're 3/4 through a bottle that was full when we moved in. Only use it for cooking and hot water though as we have electric heater

I got the second bottle delivered only a few days ago & ran out today. Glad I got it when I did!

& I was cooking when I ran out, so didn't have to get out of the shower to run out & switch it over
Hopefully I'll be able to keep on top of the bottles at least!

WE have 2 bottles, both hooked up and when one runs out, the other automatically flicks on, so long as we remember to replace the dead one straight away, we have no problems
