That was the plan we were on. It doesn't have a lot of download so not great if you use a lot of youtube etc but I was downloading quite a lot of journal articles for work with no problems. Speed was fine and price was great. We had problems when we moved though - took 3 weeks for connection. We don't have a landline or anything now but probably would get the same plan if we did.

I'm on the optus $129 fusion, but they had an offer where i got the 129 one for 99, i LOOOOOVVEEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get 50gb of net, i can pick up the phone and call ANY local number, any international number, any mobile and any 1300 number and my bill never goes up!!! I have never had a problem with speed or loosing net ever.

I did have to pay a bit for the line, not sure how the cable or whatever works, or wireless if you can do that. Sadly we are about to move and where we are looking it looks like i may not get to have it anymore i am so bummed!!! I looked on teltra and to get the same as i have with optus it will cost me something like 159 a month!!! When we do finaly move and if i cant get wireless i will be so PO'd if i have to go with telstra!!!!

Have you thought about Telstra bundles?? They are WAY cheaper than normal line rental and net together...
The net is awesome with Telstra and we have never had any probs...

Mrs Bexie: I am currently on a telstra bundle as I have foxtel too but I am paying for line rental for a phone I hardly use on this bundle I also use std alot and am not getting any benifits from it I get free local calls but rarely use them and to get unlimited std I have to move to a higher bundle I want a plan where I am not being charged for using std with this fusion plan I am getting unlimited local std and optus mobiles which most of my family are on so I think its a good deal no line rental and 120gb of net I called them today as I want cable and wifi instead of charging $99 for install and $120 for wifi they are charging me $129 for the lot so thats a good deal I have signed up today. Telstra couldnt better that deal only wanting to take $10 off a $89 phone plan not bundle so we will see how it goes.

We were on a bundle and a fusion plan for years and just recently realised we would be better off going with a stand alone phone plan (very basic plan as we don't use it hardly at all and have actually since we changed over gotten rid of it altogether and just use mobiles) and a stand alone net plan. We get 120gig or something and with the 2 together it was cheaper than a bundle. When we asked the guy on the phone why it was so much cheaper than the $129 fusion to do it this way his answer was basically that you get two bills. Worth looking into it based on how much net and phone allowance you need as for us it was a saving of around $40 a month to split it.
