PHI statements...Claims pending?

Have jsut checked my statements online and a few from from surgery are still pending....they are claims from the surgeon, what does this mean? the other claims from anesthetist and hospital have been paid. i have already paid my out of pocket expenses for the surgeon.

it may mean they are waiting to see what portion medicare covers before they pay it - i'm pretty sure that's what happened with us

Arhhhh ok, was/am worried I'll get another bill

i wouldn't assume you'd get a bill based on that - if there was to be a bill, it would say x amount billed, y amount paid, z amount due.
