    redundancy payments are generally included for FAO estimates, so it will boost your income up if it's received after the baby arrives. under social security law, whether it's taxable or not isn't taken into account - that's why many people who are made redundant have to serve such a long waiting period before qualifying for income support payments.

    under Family Assistance law, if it's not taxable, it would likely appear on your estimate as a tax free payment. PM me your enquiry with dates, and i'll see whether i can find the applicable laws for you next week
