everything i didnt get given to me (i.e. second third fourth hand) was either off eBay (i got a pram that retailed at $350, 6 months old for $100) or out of the Quokka (think its the Trading Post over east).
dont think i spent more than a couple hundred bucks... for allll the essentials.
if u have ababy shower you should get some nice things too

My youngest brother came 6 weeks early and he slept in a laundry basket lined with sheepskin for the first week after he was born. Did the job!
