Tips to save electricity please :)

I thought maybe faulty appliances, but our fridge is a really good one. Our washing machine is a 4.5 star rating too. We also have a split system, but never use it because it's way too expensive to run. Even more expensive than the radiant heat one.

Can't believe that 5 years ago we had my brother live with us for 12 months (different house) and our gas bills were about $120 and our electricity bills were about $180. How times have changed in just 5 years

Ours is up too on last year, but not consumption, on $ amount due to tariff increases.

Do you have a plasma screen tv? Are you watching it a fair bit? They can run the bill up.
