You should also be able to get Family assistance, but it will depend on your DH's wage and your wage for the financial year.

The fortnightly baby bonus has helped us 'survive' but had we had a lump sum, we would already have finished things off (e.g gates for the yard to keep DD in, and the last security door).

Some suggestions in other threads have been to try and live on single wage now and save yours, or pay off as much as you can (e.g credit cards, store cards, car loans). We have our mortgage, a credit card, and an investment loan that we are paying. We made sure everything else was paid while I was still working.

Once i get far enough along or start with the MS i will let people at work know then discuss options; its a small office so if i start vomiting (even before being pg) people ask questions lol.

I think its a good idea to have everything paid off! Will go snooping for those other threads too thanks HM!

Ive been with the company 3 years; 3.5 by the time bubs will be born so im pretty sure im entitled to it; there was a girl about 18 months ago that went on maternity leave i want to ask her what they did but dont want to let the cat out of the bag just yet lol
