sooo if I happen to not agree to everyone else, I cannot contribute my opinion and be a part of the discussion, despite it being what a forum is for?

Hannah-banana you are most definitely entitled to your opinion but it Kelly mentioned should be kept out of this thread as it defeats the purpose of it's intention. To inform those of us that are passionate and are interested in the rally.
If you have a differing opinion you may like to share it in the homebirth forum (i don't know where else would be appropriate really), however keep in mind BellyBelly is a community that promotes the ideals of natural and non-medicalised birth ... so it's something a lot of us will fight for.
ok thanks, I was just wondering![]()
I would advise against contributing an 'against' argument in the Homebirth thread, please. It's a forum for those of us who share homebirthing stories or want to read about how to have one. We get enough dissenting views in everyday life and from un-related visits to GP's without having 'our space' taken over by an opposing view. The general birth section can probably be used, but the Homebirth section is not for this purpose.
Cookiemonster's right, too, in saying what BB is mainly about![]()
I'm confused, Hannah, given that you haven't posted an opinion yet.
This is an announcement and coordination thread for the protest in September. If you have an alternative point of view, you'd be welcome to post it in an appropriate forum, but as Kelly pointed out, the intention of this thread was to assist in coordinating those who are attending, not discuss or debate the new legislation. We got a bit carried away...
Try the search - I think I've contributed to at least two other threads on this topic today. I'm sure you'll find somewhere to have your say.
Yes please read the earlier posts. Any further debate will be removed without warning. This is a co-ordination and organisation thread for those who are passionate about supporting this issue, I don't want a messy thread. Please feel free to start one somewhere else if you wish to discuss this further. I wont ask again. End of.
Kelly xx

I am not going to argue that or anything, I didn't write my post properly and maybe it was stupid of me to ask, but I promise you I have no intention of arguing with anything, sorry for the confusion. And sorry for the way I am writing my posts, I am having one of those days where I know what I am saying but I can't seem to word it properly
Edit: Sorry BellyBelly, I had started this post before I saw yours, I am not going to argue or make anything messy, cannot apologise enough![]()
Hannah, you've only made 3 posts - it takes a while to get into the forum groove and within that time, you're bound to step on some toes, so don't stress
Just written emails to Roxon, 2 Greens MP's and my local Federal MP. FWIW. Letting them know I'd be in the crowd - not cos they know me, but to let them know I'm an email writer AND an attendee at the rally
I can feel the momentum building!
