1 Aug 2011 - Possums swam with the whales and now has birthed a baby.....

BOY!!!

I'm thrilled to announce that Possum's and her DH welcomed Aidan James into the world last night at 9.30pm by emergency c/section after labouring all day. Aidan was a month early and weighed in at 2.18kg. All is going well and they managed a breastfeed already which is fabulous.

Possum's your LTTTC journey has been about as difficult as it can get. After several losses, medical hiccups, much much waiting, medication and lots of IVF, I believe your special swim with the whales last year in the South Pacific along with a fabulous IVF and medical team was the winning combination you needed. You heard the whales' songs and look what happened! Enjoy this new adventure, its a ride of a lifetime. Cuddle Aidan close to you and enjoy these early days. Its been a pleasure to share your journey and I know you have inspired many, especially myself
