1 September 2007 - Baby Zabella Grace is here

Hi all you new mums and mum's/dad's to be...

It has taken me this long to get back on the internet however we just wanted to announce the birth of our little lady Zabella Grace on September 1st 2007.

I ended up having a Caesarian section (but thankyou to everyone for your help with information regarding a VBAC) , and when they started- they found my scar to be severely fibrous (sorry, I think that is the term)... so we were obviously guided by a guardian angel or something!

Just to all the mums out there- please take it easy after you have your little one, either naturally or via Caesar... I think that because I overdid it majorly after my first caesarian was why my scar was so bad this time.

I just LOVE Zabella as a name!! Where did it come from and what does it mean?

HI Megs 11...

We sort of made it up- based on a combination of Bella and Izabella... I love Izabella but there are a lot of babies at the moment with that name- and we LOVED Bella but my husband (and babys) surname would not go with any name beginning with B (long story!) so we sort of made it up... it means the same as the Italian meaning of Bella- Beautiful... so far we haven't found anyone with the name- however there are a few companies called Zabella's designs etc, and a beautiful mansion in the USA called Zabella house- so hopefully its not "TOO" unusual... it suits her and we love it.
