13 June 2011 - it's a girl!

Our new little miss was welcomed into the world at 10.22pm last night after 40mins of labour! She arrived right here at home on the bathroom floor.. no time to set up the birth pool! And midwife and doula only just made it in time lol.

Big sister was a bit overwhelmed I think to have a look if it's a boy or girl so we all looked together. And big brother cut the cord

(third stage took longer than labour! Lol)

Stats: 4.29kg, hc 34cm and length 53cm. I cook em good

Huge congrats Liz - what a wonderful birth! I'm so glad you achieved the HB you planned. Just as well too, sounds like you wouldn't have had time to move!
