Hi all,

Sorry I havent been on, but have had so much going on, and havent been overly well since Chloe's birth, as well as having no internet.

I want to thank everyone for their congratulations on Chloe's arrival. She is just gorgeous, Im so in love with my newest little princess. She did have a bit of a rough start being in NICU for approx 4days. due to low sugar levels 28mins after her arrival, then not being able to suck and needing tube feeds. Yet they kept her a little longer due to me not being able to tend to her.

I am having trouble with BF as she is soooo used to being bottle fed, so I am very disappointed that it hasnt been as smooth sailing with the BFing. Will be going to the Dr's today to get some meds to help with my milk supply so hopefully that will help.

Still getting loads of headaches and some backpain so will be looking forward to the day I am headache free. I am also so very emotional and feel like crying over the slightest thing. Dh reminds me I was like that with little v.

Had some terrible stomach pains on Saturday (from the inside) and not long after I mentioned to Dh that I had these pains I passed a huge Blood clot approx 10-15cm long. Then bled heavier than normal. Spoke to the hospital that suggested go to the GP, or into emergency, or even just monitor it myself. i chose to monitor it, in fear of being admitted to hospital again. lol.
I think what got to me was the stabbing pains then the huge blood clot, I had never esperienced that before after all of my pgcy's. So here I am still keeping a close eye.

As for Chloe, she will be 3wks tomorrow, and was weighed by the pead last friday (as the pead mentioned to us she will be one of his frequent flyers) and was 2290gms. He has mentioned if she hasnt hit her BW come Friday then he is looking at putting her on tube feeds. I am not too concerned atm, as I am sure she will hit her BW by then. When little Chloe was in hospital, they had done some chromosome tests which all came back clear. Not sure about the karyotypes results. They also did a kidney u/s, which was fine, and also a brain scan. The brain scan came up with an echogenic focus, which they believe to be nothing to worry about. The pead said to me they believe it may be an old heamorrage from birth, but he doesnt believe that as when the scan was done she was only 3days old. He wants to do another one soon to see if it has resolved. She failed her right ear testing and is to go to the childrens hospital for further testing. Praying it all turns out ok with her hearing. She also has had a cough and a croaky husky voice since her birth, which the pead is going to monitor and if it doesnt seem to improve he is going to refer her for more testing. FX that improves too. She is such a cute little thing and loves her cuddles, which in a way can become very time consuming. lol.

So there we have it my update, hopefully I get a chance to write my birth story soon.

Thankyou so much georgie for being a wonderful PIG once again hun and updating everyone. Your the best hun. hugs
