Just wanted to share with everyone that I now have a BABY BOY!
I was 9 days overdue and booked in to be induced on the 26th of August but went in to labour myself and had the little man at 12:56pm on 25th August.
I coped quite well at home for most of the labour, I was in hospital for less than 3 hours when he was born....It was a very scary beginning, he was born with the cord around his neck 3 times and it took 15 minutes of resuscitation to get him to take his first breath. He was completely blue and lifeless when he was born and I thank god that there was a team of paediatricians close by to help him.
When I have chance I will write his birth story...
We named him Deon and he was 8.8lbs or 3.99kg.
We are so happy and my daughter is smitten with her little bro!
