Craig here, DH of Mel (gudism), just giving you all a quick update on Mel & Mehkelti
Firstly, I want to thank everyone of the people who have been there for and supported Mel over her whole pregnancy! You guys have been absolutely fantastic in being there for her, and I am forever grateful to you all. You are amazing! :-)
I wont go into any great details, as I dont want to steal any thunder from my wife in filling in to you all the details, but I'll just say that both Mum and the rabbit are doing great. Mel is recovering very very well...much better than with Aricyn's birth, and probably pushed it a little far this morning by walking (slowly) about 20m to the midwives station and back to her room...and was a little sore this arvo (yes my wife is stubborn, but there is nothing wrong with that! :-) stubborn and strong!)
ps. the images Ijust added......some will be in the birth announcements......some in member galleries......sorry!
and little Mehkelti is also doing well, was a bit mucousy the first night but this morning she is going well. And she is beautiful!! (not a biased father at all............. :-) )
The only bad thing (from my prespective) is that I could only stay over one night to be with my girls, I have to be back home now to be with Aricyn, but will pop into the hospital with my boy as often as i can, we only live 1KM away! Such a different experience the 2nd time around :-)
I will attempt to post a few photos in the gallery (if I can work it out.....this is the first time I have been on BB!), and I'm also going to post this same post on Mel's bellybuddies thread.
Again, thank you all for the support over the past few months :-)

Craig, thanks for posting, so glad to hear that all is going well! That doesn't sound like Mel at all, being stubborn and pushing herself LOL You sound like an awesome husband! Enjoy this special time, can't wait to hear from Mel when she's home And to see photos of beautiful nappies on Mehkelti!
Thanks for the update Craig - she is just adorable and yep -HUGE surprise that the stubborn Mel is overdoing it!

Welcome to this world little girl!!!! What a strong wonderful Mama you have been born to. I woke up on Saturday with your name (Gudism) in my mind ... That often happens to me - what a beautiful little girl you have Mel - big hugs and many congratulations
