The arrival of the much anticipated Abigail Sally!

Abby arrived at 1910 on the 30/11/2011 weighing 4315g (or 9lb 8oz) and was 53cm's long.

After progressing really well to 8cms things went a bit pear shaped and mama needed an emergency cs, but otherwise mum and bubs are doing great and she thanks everyone for their support for her vbac. Lisa said she couldn't love her anymore had she come via her lady bits anyway

Thank you everyone! We are enjoying our big lady (Even after losing weight she was still in the 4kg club!). We're home now so I'll get on to a birth story eventually. Disappointing on one side - but looking at Abby, how could I ever be disappointed with bringing that amount of gorgeous into the world!

Chubba bubbas are the best kind! Congratulations on the safe arrival of Abigail (beautiful name, btw!), I'm sorry it didn't quite pan out the way you were hoping, but it sounds like you've done a fantastic job bringing your little one into the world
