30th June 2008 - Nic's little man is here

I'm so very happy to finally be able to announce the arrival of our little man, Luke, who was born on Monday 30th June at 9.46am, weighing 7lb 10oz and measuring 50cms.

We were booked in for our c/s, and upon arriving at the hospital, we were told that the pain I was having were not Braxton Hicks, and that I was 8cms dilated! We were moved from 3rd on the operating list to 1st, and after waiting for a paedeatrician to be found our little man entered the world. He had a low temp for most of the day, so was 6 hours old before I even got to see him, but we are all good now.

DH and I (and DD) are completely in love with him, he was worth every second of our long TTC journey.
