Many congratulations on birthing your beautiful daughter!!! Glad it was quick but I also understand those fast and furious ones leave you feeling very stunned! You'll be able to appreciate that frantic cleaning spurt the day before when you get home now I stupidly tiled three rooms the week before DD was born so can appreciate what it is like when the urge hits!

May you be able to have a time of peace with just yourselves to really savour everything you have worked towards and waited for - those early days never come again... May you be blessed with great support and people who think it could be a good idea to make a few meals for you!!!

Hi Ladies - thank you so much for your lovely messages!

We have been home since Sunday and are settling in really well - loving being a 2nd time mum! Lila has taken to breastfeeding like a little champ which is just so lovely. Her big brother is slowly adjusting to sharing the spotlight but coping pretty well overall.

Will hopefully get around to posting my birth story very soon - and yes Karen, describing me as 'stunned' afterwards would be right!
