    5 January 2009; Ryan James is here

    I know, I know, it was two weeks ago, but just haven't had the opportunity to announce it (or do anything else it seems!)

    Our second little bundle of love, Ryan James arrived at 3.43am, Monday the 5th at Sunshine Hospital. 50cm long, 3.55kg, and 35cm h/c. (And how's this for weird <or consistent?> Steph was also born on a Monday, 3.51am, 52cm long, 35cm h/c and just 3 ounces heavier!)

    Labour was only seven hours (hey, Steph was twenty six hours!), and I was only in hospital forty minutes before he arrived. This labour was better than the last, and my waters broke on their own this time also. All went well, four stitches again (but only quite minor tearing), just having LOTS of problems b/f since my milk came in.

    Steph thinks he is fabulous (as do we all), and is always giving him kisses and pats. She liked him straightaway which was a huge relief to me.
