My first time to work with Alan and his gorgeous wife Irene, too. These guys are great fun and real pros so if you really want a great birth experience HIRE THEM! When this mum had a little touch of high blood pressure, they drove 200 miles just to check everything over and make sure all was OK. They were so supportive and respectful of the couple's wishes. I'll work with you any time Alan and if I was going to have another baby I'd know who to call.

I was impressed with this couple too. They had cultural & personal reasons for wanting a homebirth (their second baby was also born at home) and they really stuck to their guns and got what they wanted. I sort of wished they could've called us sooner so we got there on time - but the reason we weren't there is because the mother was so chilled out I guess they didn't realise how far along she was until it was all on! How amazing, an unassisted birth - they were champions.

Gorgeous little bub was a bit cool and I was so impressed how Alan was able to gently encourage the skin-to-skin bonding that they both needed.

Kelly thanks for your encouraging words - ditto! Ditto! You do such an outstanding job on Bellybelly as well as being a top doula, I don't know how you do it all, you are a star. Bellybelly is a fantastic resource that is helping to empower a lot of people.
