I's a girl!

[Twin Sister]

Our little girl made her way into the world on Thursday July 22, at 6:35am. She weighed in at 7bs 13oz and has tons of dark spikey hair.

I woke up Thursday at around 1am with sharp pains in my tailbone. It took me a bit to realize they were contractions. I knew she must be face up and desperately hoped she would flip. Around 3:30am I was in so much pain I asked DH to take me to the hospital for some pain relief figuring I was in early labour and would likely be sent home. At 3:35am the nurse said I was 3cm, and when she checked half an hour later I wa already at 4cm. Since I was progressing so quickly they prepared the delivery room for me. At 7cnm (probably arounf 6am) my Dr arrived and punctured my water. At that point I could no longer stop the pushing and was screaming in agony. Thankfully 10min later I was fully dilated and allowed to push. It felt like my tailbone was breaking. More screaming and our little girl arrived at 6:35am, face up. I'm prety tender as I had 3rd degree tearing and my Dr was apologizing profusely for all the stitches (like it was his fault LOL), but recovering well.
