Thank you all soooo much, and a specia big thanks to Lou for posting.

Yep, punctual as can be my little boy decided to surprise Mum, Dad and medical staff and came spontaneously on his due date. He obviously didn't like the sound of the induction that was planned!

So after only 12 hours of labour Liam Alexander Quinn arrived - 7lbs11oz and lots of blonde hair. He is none the worse for wear for the problems we had leading up to now, and although i had zero amniotic fluid left, he was fine and even feeding about 10 minutes after the birth.

We have only just managed to come home a few hours ago because he was jaundiced, and he has been under the lights. Very hard on his sooky mother, because i couldn't comfort him and he was all naked and vulnerable but it seems to have turned him a much nicer pink colour than the pumpkin-shade that he was

His daddy is being the most wonderful man on earth (biased, I know ) and I feel so very blessed and happy. Even the first meeting with our naughty puppy went really well.
