Congratulations to Rachella and her family
Lucas born at 5.26am, 9 pound 8 ounces, after a champion labour at home, transfer to hospital and c-section for a stubborn little posterior boy. A very empowering experience, from what I'm told, which is only fitting Plan B was very well-adhered to by all involved, so well done Team Rachella!! There's one happy big brother, too.
Oh, man, I could cry (dammit, no 'could' about it, I just am crying!).
Wonderful work to birth on their terms, I'm sure we'll get the birth story when she's recovered from surgery
