Proudly announcing the arrival of our

Archer

Born on Sunday, 4th July at 7.52am at the Mercy in Heidelberg
At a respectable 2328gms at 34 weeks and 3 days, Archer is doing amazingly well, no breathing support at all and only an IV drip in for antibiotics & fluids.

Going under the lights for Jaundice tomorrow, but orally taking small feeds and hoping to get him home on the boob in the next couple of weeks.

What a huge journey, on bed rest in hospital from 24 weeks, seperated from our little boy who stayed at home an hour & a half away from the hosptial, but looking at this healthy, chubby Archie who arrived crying to be put straight onto his Mum's chest, it makes it all worthwhile.

My amazing, courageous wife put everything on hold for nearly 11 weeks to get our miracle boy to this gestation and her strength during labour left me in awe of what she is capable of. She is my hero & I am so truly blessed to have her as my life partner and two healthy, gorgeous little boys.

Thank you all for following our journey and looking forward to sharing the next stage of Archie's journey with you all
