Thank you to everyone for your warm wishes and congratulations.
Well we are home, Ben has been in SCU since just after birth but I'm too tired to go into the details at the moment. The good news is he is all ok, just a rough start.
So the details, I decided to go for an induction on the 2nd but when I arrived they told me I was already in early labour and 4cms. I could go home and wait or go ahead with the induction. I had made my mind up earlier that I coudn't go any further so elected to go ahead.
Ben was born at 2.30pm after a two and a half hour labour and weighed 3960g or 8pd 7oz. He is 52cm long and has a 36cm head circ. He is just gorgeous and a very calm and content little boy. He is feeding really well and is just a delight. I'm proud that I managed another drug free labour. I must admit I didn't cope so well with transition this time, but the rest of my labour was very calm and peaceful. The full details will be in my Birth Story when I get around to it.
Once again thank you to everyone for your support (especially the ladies in the Parenting after Loss thread and my Spontaneous Labour Thread). Also thanks for all the messages since Ben's birth.
