wow, what a happy story to read about
that's fantastic, after the journey and wait you've had, to finally be holding your baby, that's so precious and beautiful.
building the breastfeeding relationship is a learned skill and often it takes time, so don't worry if it takes a while to "get there", the counsellors from australian breastfeeding association are great, don't hesitate to contact them. Private lactation consultants are also good.
it may be very tempting to show off Perfection, but remember to prioritise TIME for you adn your baby to get to know each other, have privacy so you can have lots of skin to skin, let him feed often (helps your supply too), so you two can learn what to do. Some people (mums and bubs) "get it" immed and many others, take time to, so don't feel pressure to "get it immediately".
enjoy your babymoon, what you thought would never happen, has just happened, adn how! you must be SO happy! (all those LOVE hormones that get triggered when you have your bub).
what a beautiful sotry to come across (i dont know you, haven't followed your preg, just read the announcement and felt so happy for you!).
