yeah, i had a couple of stitches, i even got DH to check that they werent still there (even tho i knew i couldnt feel them) just to be sure thats not what was causing the pain.
i had the same sort of pain when DH leaned on my scar tissue so yeah i'd give it a while before u get too worried
Do you think maybe you were nervous??
Sounds like my first time ><;;
teagz, thats whay DH said, so we tried a little "self stimulation" LOL but that didnt help, i felt so badi might give it a little more time, dd has a drs app next week so i might just ask when im there.
For me it wasn't until 5 1/2 months after DD's birth that one side of my hoo haa suddenly improved, a week later the other and dtd stopped feeling like razor blades of agony. I was as shocked as you, expected it to be fine after the 6 weeks. My Dr said it can take some women up to a year, it depends how you heal and your scarring. 7 weeks is early days. Just take it slow, try it once a week until you're comfortable, use lots of lube, be on top so you can control penetration and rest assured it WILL get better!! You can go get checked out for your scar tissue just in case that's an issue or there's an infection if you're worried or it hurts at times other than dtd.
It still feels like razor blades for meIf you are breastfeeding the hormones can make DTD uncomfortable so tht could also be an issue.
You could be tense and have unknowingly tightened up. He might have hit your scar. I found since having DD that there are some positions that we just can't do anymore because it is uncomfortable and a little painful for me...even 21 months later.
Still, I envy anyone who can even attempt to DTD after 6-8 weeks. We couldn't until about 12-14 weeks after I had DD.
